Doors open February

The Provincial Firefighters Consortium Museum presents its new open house activities for the month of February.
This month will be dedicated to air, as one of the four elements, which is why the two themed days with free admission for all visitors will be closely related.

On one hand, on Sunday, February 9, we will talk about energy sources, particularly wind energy. To do this, we will hold a guided workshop to explore the museum, the old factory, and the energy that has powered water pumps throughout history. The little ones will also be able to create a colorful windmill.

Secondly, on Sunday, February 23, we will have a morning session dedicated to aerial resources used in interventions, both for rescue operations and firefighting. Once again, there will be a guided workshop for a family activity where all participants will collaborate in building a rescue helicopter.

On these two days, the guided tours will be partial, focusing only on the elements directly related to the proposed theme. These activities are free and aimed at families, recommended for children aged 5 and older. Prior registration is mandatory.
Additionally, February brings something new: the 1st Micro-Story Contest on the social network X. The contest rules are available on the museum’s website: www.muboma.com.

Finally, the Saturday guided tours at 12 p.m. are back with the museum’s regular admission fee. During these tours, we will explore MuBoma in a much more complete and detailed way. To participate in these tours or the open house activities, prior registration is mandatory at least 48 hours in advance via phone at 965544418 or email at [email protected].
