Open doors June
The Museum of the Provincial Firefighters’ Consortium is dedicating its two open days in June to one of the four essential elements: fire.
After having explored air and earth in previous months, this time we will dedicate two Sundays to reflecting on fire from a very innovative perspective — and with free admission.
On June 8 at 11:30 a.m., we’ll hold a Wood Pyrography Workshop, because fire, in its most positive form, has many uses. This activity is aimed at children aged 8 to 12. Places are limited and advance registration is required at least 48 hours in advance.
On June 22 at 11:30 a.m., we’ll also have the game The Olympic Flame, a fun activity for the whole family where the main character will be the Olympic fire. Teams will have to complete various challenges and trials to claim victory. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Advance registration is required at least 48 hours beforehand.
Additionally, on Saturdays June 7 and 21, there will be a guided tour at 12:00 p.m. for anyone who would like to discover the museum in a detailed and comprehensive way. Regular museum admission fees apply, and prior registration is also required at least 48 hours in advance.
Lastly, please note that on Tuesday, June 24, the museum will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. due to a public holiday. The rest of the month will follow our usual schedule.
