Open doors May

The Museum of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium celebrates once again the International Museum Day with a weekend full of activities.
On Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, we will have two open days with free admission to come and discover and enjoy MuBoma.
This year, the proposed theme is “The future of museums in ever-changing communities” and precisely from MuBoma we invite you to rethink the museum from different points of view.

On Saturday, May 17 in the morning, the opening hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Starting at 10:30 a.m., we will offer every 30 minutes an interpretative visit: “RE-Readings of MuBoma” where we will analyze the museum from multiple perspectives. The last session will start at 1 p.m.

In addition, on Saturday afternoon the museum will exceptionally open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and at 7:30 p.m. we will enjoy the concert of the Alcoy-based group “Garaje Sound”, with covers from different eras and the common thread of enjoying, expressing, and connecting with the audience.

On Sunday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the museum will once again be open to everyone. At 11:15 a.m. there will be a new opportunity to participate in the interpretative visit: “RE-Readings of MuBoma” and starting at 12 p.m. it will be the turn of the little ones with the educational workshop “A museum in constant change”.

These activities do not require registration. Admission will be free until full capacity is reached.
